So, the Inquisition was formed. The nobles begin to fear assassination from all sides. The times of nobility Mistborn killing each other are over. The Steel Inquisitors look for aristocrat traitors and insurgent skaa, and the skaa try with all their strength to merely survive. The Lord Ruler's perfect Final Empire is slowly devolving into chaos.

Though secretly a romantic at heart, Sebastien endeavors to present himself as a proper and fitting heir. After all, as the only son of the Lord of House Perrault, a moderately wealthy house specializing in obsidian, Sebastien is next in line to take over leadership of both the family and their business. While he is quite good at business and is very personable, he sometimes struggles with politics and isn't a very good duelist. At his family's urging, he has given up his old habits of daydreaming - at least for the most part - and tries to keep himself grounded firmly in the reality that is his normal, everyday existence.
