The Lord Ruler's perfect capital city, Luthadel, is doing the impossible: rebelling. Skaa half-breeds are being taught the power of Allomancy, something that the Lord Ruler's obligators said only existed in the nobility. The enslaved skaa, with their murderous benefactor, now fight back against a living god's oppression.

So, the Inquisition was formed. The nobles begin to fear assassination from all sides. The times of nobility Mistborn killing each other are over. The Steel Inquisitors look for aristocrat traitors and insurgent skaa, and the skaa try with all their strength to merely survive. The Lord Ruler's perfect Final Empire is slowly devolving into chaos.

Hey all!

Good thread so far. I noticed, however, that you are posting OOC. Our original intention was to have players post AS their characters (with characters who are only in the arena being placed in the "Arena" group). It might not be a big deal in your current thread, but posting as characters will make things much less confusing in the long run, especially in threads where someone is playing more than one character.

I'm glad you guys are having fun in the arena :)

EDIT: Here's a link to the Character Creation Guide.

Ermagerd, I totes knew that, but I'm not used to remembering to do it each time. I think I did post as 'Fiusha' once...

Also, how do I do different avatars for each "character account"? Under 'avatar' it just has a blank text field. Do I have to host the picture somewhere and write in the URL?

Copy the imgurl (right click, copy url) from wherever you got the img or you can upload it to a site. I personally recommend http://imgur.com/ because no login required to upload pictures from the web or computer.

Hope this helps :)

EDIT: Don't say totes. Ever. Again.

Please read this note if you're curious about the physics behind Jasun's duralumin-enhanced Steelpush in our combat, Tall, Dark and Dangerous.

Based on the rules from the Mistborn RPG, which state that a typical steelpush can send a coin flying at 100 mph, assuming that the coin was a generous 5g (roughly the mass of an official US quarter) and assuming that the coin reaches this speed at roughly 1 second of steelpushing, I did some math and deduced that the combined upwards thrust would push Fiusha a whopping 25 feet in the air. I then gave the numbers to my physicist cousin who corrected me, and pointed out that it would be more like three feet. Clearly, I'm missing something, since a normal push against a coin on the ground would send a coinshot far, far higher than that. So, I'm just making up something that seems appropriate dramatically. If someone (does anyone know how to get Chaos's attention? I've heard he's good at this) wants to help me figure out what I've done wrong, please do so, but since this is just the arena I'm just gonna go for narrative imperative.
