The Lord Ruler's perfect capital city, Luthadel, is doing the impossible: rebelling. Skaa half-breeds are being taught the power of Allomancy, something that the Lord Ruler's obligators said only existed in the nobility. The enslaved skaa, with their murderous benefactor, now fight back against a living god's oppression.

So, the Inquisition was formed. The nobles begin to fear assassination from all sides. The times of nobility Mistborn killing each other are over. The Steel Inquisitors look for aristocrat traitors and insurgent skaa, and the skaa try with all their strength to merely survive. The Lord Ruler's perfect Final Empire is slowly devolving into chaos.

@Tal - I was more curious about it being in the random gen process so that if you were allowed to have a Mistborn, it could be a possibility in the rand gen process. I'm not sure if I'd want to rp a full mistborn yet. My intention wasn't to play a mistborn.

Correct odds are about three orders of magnitude less for mistings.

So what, 1 in 8000? So do, what, a 4d10, where if you get 1, your mistborn? Which doesn't really sound worth the effort, not with the number of takers of the challenge.

I don't think it's worth it either. Even if more misting are made than muggles.

Tal: You can, but I need to know what rolls you want me to make. ^^

Haelbarde: The decision to leave Mistborn out of the option pool was a deliberate decision on my part. Because of the ruling regarding their creation, the increased scrutiny we put on those characters, and their overall rarity, I decided it was best to leave them out. Plus, I already keep a ton of dice on my desk for this; I don't need to add another 4d10 and so on to the mix. Yes, I'm using actual dice for this. Yes, I keep them on my desk at all times. Don't judge me. XD

Anyways! Your results!

You are a Noble Soother.

Have fun! I look forward to seeing what you come up with. :)

Dice are cool. Tabletop RPG's have interested me, but I've not as yet found the time nor the group for it.

Hmm, I wondered if this might happen. It's like my first character, except the exact opposite personality.

Which means I'm going to have to write them completely different to each other. This will be interesting to plan.

Thanks!

Just attributes.

But... Is "resources" referring strictly to monetary ones? How would monetary resources be expressed in the rebellion?

From earlier in the topic:

I purposely left it vague, so that people who are taking the challenge can still have some flexibility in how they interpret it. In the Mistborn Adventure Game though, resources can be anything from money to reputation to social connections.

Hope that helps. ^^ And now for your attributes!

Oh, sorry. I wholly forgotten about that. Still, I do need to know about the monetary resources thing, so I will not be ignorant.

Thank you!

A rebel character with strong financial resources would most likely be a skaa criminal of some kind who makes their fortunes by scamming the nobility. That's really the only viable way for a skaa to make money in Luthadel, so that's probably your best bet.

Could a couple skaa be rebels and part of a crew at your same time?

I don't see why not. After all, the some of the main players in Kelsier's rebellion were big shots in the thieving crew world.

Reckon you could roll an extra pair of dice?
Might as go the whole way with the rand gen - could you roll for allomantic power, and for gender? The idea I'm working with doesn't really care on gender of allomantic power. This way, chance and your dice can decide, rather than me! (Plus, it gives you more opportunity to use them!)

Could I have the attribute rolls for my WIP Hasting character?

Also, could I have a D10 roll with the attribute rolls for the skaa I'm starting to plan? The one thing I'd ask, is that if the D10 lands on Soother, please keep rolling till it lands on something else. I do not want a third soother.

Yes, I think I've got a case of characteritis... My 2nd character (my previous dice roll challenge person) is pretty much ready to appear in the workshop though.

You are a non-Allomancer.

Social Skills: Typical

Combat Ability: Superior

Resources: Underdeveloped*

(*Not sure how you would interpret this for a character whose financial resources are already determined by his house. Feel free to discard this, but I'd love to see if you can spin it somehow.)

Hilariously enough, it did actually land on Soother. Twice. XD

I can use those for the skaa. And just as well I said with the soother - are you sure your dice aren't rigged?.

Oh, and sorry, I didn't make myself particularly clear. Can I have a second attribute roll - for a separate character?

I should've just been patient. INstead I was not and the edit was not seen. I also need one for attributes and allomantic power/ability thingymajig. Hael, if you don't want it, I'll take the second of your attribute roles.
