Weaknesses: Can’t understand how emotions can motivate people beyond a yearning to be better than others (IE doesn’t understand love, guilt, etc), arrogant beyond belief

Overall Personality: Bastian is extremely disciplined, and can easily control himself due to his extensive training. He fights not with the unbridled emotion of some, but with clinical precision, treating battle as simply a fast paced game of strategy with high stakes. This is how he looks at most of life, not really being able to understand emotions and how they motivate people, instead seeing everything as a race to become the most powerful, with no thought towards friendship, allies, etc. He is extremely dedicated to House Urvon, and will do anything for their continued success and prosperity.

Appearance: Bastian is 6’0, with short cropped blond hair and blue eyes, something he inherited from his mother, while his broad-shouldered build he inherited from his father. His eyes are piercing, and when he looks straight at someone they feel as if he is looking through them.

Brief History: Bastian was born in Luthadel in 898 to Benedict and Gwyn Urvon. He was a very mean, aggressive child, often tormenting other children to feel more important. When he snapped as a Mistborn, this belief that he was superior was reinforced, and he took to his training with zeal and discipline because it made him feel more important. He knew he would not be head of House Urvon without careful planning, and so he became very patient in all aspects of his life as he has spent years planning how to help make Urvon a great house and then, through some precision assassinations, make himself the head. He will support Urvon’s current head, Bernard, with every piece of his being until Urvon ascends, but then his plans will go in motion.

Bastian uses Iron, Steel, Bronze, and Tin more than any other metal because it gives him a feeling of control over his surroundings, making himself feel superior. Iron and Steel make him feel superior to those who are foolish enough to wear metal, tin and bronze make himself feel as if he knows more about his surroundings than others, and so feels superior. Since he is already stronger than most people, he uses Pewter less so to feel important than as simply a tool in his arsenal. He believes that Copper is for cowards, and since he doesn’t care about emotions, he rarely uses brass or zinc.

It didn't start that way, but as I wrote it he kinda morphed more into one. I'll have to do some research to write him as a full MBI character
