Cantos, as a former low noble hazekiller, usually wears grey robes, carries a wooden shield, and a dueling cane. His last assignment went poorly, and he now has a disfiguring scar across his left face. He still attempts to carry himself as a noble, but his hard eyes and depression puts many off.

Other
Special Skills: Hazekiller, Allomancer, Read/Write, Squad Commander and Trainer in Anti-Allomantic Tactics
Strengths: Cantos is a good trainer and leader, and as a low and poor noble, often worked closely with Skaa guards and hazekillers. He grew too close...
Weaknesses: As a new Allomancer, Cantos has no true control over his skills, nor does he understand them fully. Further, he has no control over his hate and feelings of betrayal. He despises the nobility and the Lord Ruler, feeling that they have no care over him or the loss of his wife.

Personality
Being born into a poor noble family did mean that although life was difficult, it would still be comfortable. Growing up, Cantos felt that learning a practical skill would let him sell his services to a more powerful and wealthy noble family, and increase his own family's wealth and influence. He worked closely with Skaa, and learned to trust them and like them. Eventually he switched to learning about haze killing, and fighting allomancy without allomantic powers. Cantos built a good team, a solid team, including his wife, also noble, and a skilled merchant.

On his last assignment, he and his wife were both badly injured and the Noble they worked for, and successfully protected, left them to die so that he would not have to pay them. His Skaa saved his life, but his wife died. Snapping into full Mistborn power, Cantos has survived and is now angry, embittered, and looking for revenge.

History
As mentioned above, Cantos was a normal human, and poor noble. He studied and trained in the art of war, becoming a skilled soldier, and later, a skilled haze killer. He developed a special set of armor mixing wood and thick leather, combined with a solid wood shield, and dueling cane, to create the best bodyguards he could create. By hiring Skaa, he saved money, and built solid teams to defend wealthier nobles in the Southern Dominion which was his home.

Within a few years he built himself a small fortune and opened a training academy. His wife helped to manage the building, and gather contracts and negotiate deals. They lived a good life for nobles, and though poor, and dependent on defending the wealthy to survive, they were happy.

However, it was the last contract that would end it all, and lead Cantos to find revenge against the high nobility.

The noble approached them in a poor disguise. Cantos had spies, he could discover who the noble was, but choose to play along. He needed to head to Luthadel, and was concerned about an assassination plot his own men had uncovered. Apparently one of the Noble's opponents, another merchant, had organized a Misting assassin team. Cantos was hired to protect him.

After his team succesfully defeated the assassins, with great losses, Cantos and his wife, both wounded, were left to die. The Noble simply proceeded on to Luthadel. His surviving men dragged him to a Skaa plantation hovel, and there nursed him back to life. Though his wife died, his snapping, and subsequent burning of latent pewter, kept him alive and healing. Emerging alive with his few men left, he sent the others back home and proceeded onto Luthadel. He never learned the Nobles name, and now will seek him out for revenge.

Roleplay Sample
Cantos walked down a back street of Luthadel, his eyes alert. Haze killers had their own society, their own norms, and a small pub for noble hazekillers had been rumored to exist in a Skaa slum. Being just north of the Hotel district he thought that this would be a good place to go. Dressed in his uniform, he moved smoothly down the street, and was not expected to be stopped. As night had fallen, the mists had moved in, but they no longer bothered him. They seemed comfortable. He did not expect the voice that first hailed him, and was disturbed by it.

"Halt in the name of the Lord Ruler!" The voice came out of the darkness and mist ahead. He had no metals to burn, no tin to enhance his senses, but he was well trained in the art of combat. Four garrison soldiers emerged.... and an Obligator. "This area is under a strict curfew. State your name and business Hazekiller." The Obligator looked hungry, almost eager to execute another.

"I am Cantos, late of the Southern Dominion, member of the House of Orlan." He bowed smartly, fearing the Obligator, but hoping to talk his way out of this predicament. "I was informed that other Hazekillers meet near hear, and was hoping to find word on what Houses and Nobles might be hiring, My Lord Obligator."

The Obligator seemed intrigued by finding a Noble here, but his education and bearing marked him at least trained. "This area is still under curfew. I must bring you in for further questioning." The Obligator smiled and stepped forward, lifting a vile to his lips, the tattoos around his eyes crinkling as he watched his opponent and downed the liquid. "Resistence, is a poor idea." He laughed as the guards drew their swords.

This is what I truly hate about these people, Cantos thought with disgust even as he prepared to resist. They are all bullies and small minded fools. One guard stepped forward lifting his sword in a poor imitation of an attack. Cantos nodded sharply to the man, whipped out his dueling cane, and shifted to attack the guards undefended left side. His cane whistled in, and would have broken his arm, until the guard was pulled back towards the Obligator. "Lurcher!" Cantos whispered out loud in annoyance.

The other guards fanned out, and Cantos lowered himself and shifted his shield from his back to his arm. His lowered profile increased the defense his shield gave him, and limited the options his attackers had. He moved quickly to the right, closing with the guards.

The Obligator watched this move and waited, biding his time. He knew that Cantos was prepared, and could tell he was well trained. He relished the fight, and killing a hazekiller. He grinned wolfishly as his guards moved in.

Cantos lunged at the Guard, tricking him with his cane, and as the man smacked the cane aside with his sword, slammed him with the edge of his shield. The guard dropped, stunned, and Cantos stepped on his back to launch himself at his partner. The Obligator had ideas of his own, and pulled the downed Guard, just as Cantos stepped on him, throwing him off balance.

He hit the road hard with his shoulder, and rolled away. The Obligator was already searching for a new weapon, and pulled out a small sling. Emptying some coins into it, he twirled it once and released them, the coins landing many yards away.

Swearing, Cantos slammed himself back down onto the coble stones as coins whipped back overhead. Turning, he saw the Obligator pull another guard in front of him to take the brunt of the coins, most hitting his chest, but one snapping into his neck. The guard fell. The Obligator just looked frustrated, and the other two Guards looked sick.

"Hai!" Cantos shouted, struggling to his feet, a short battle cry that was piercing enough to distract tin enhanced ears. He sprinted at one guard, his cane and shield moving as a fluid wall of wood that struck at the startled man. The poor Skaa guard dropped his sword and turned to run, before the Obligator lurched him to use him against as a human shield.

Twisting he paused, uncertain of what was happening, and got struck right in the back. His wooden and leather armor held against the the hook that had been ripped off the wall, but Cantos was startled.

The other guard struggled out of his armor and sword and ran into the night, even as the Obligator kept lurching the final guard to keep him as a shield. The Guard screamed in terror, and Cantos waited impatiently. He needed to end this quickly, but the Obligator was skilled. He ducked the occasional pulled piece of metal, holding his shield to cover his upper back and head. The Obligator cursed at him, even as they circled.

With a burst of strength, Cantos lunged forward and struck the terrified guard hard with his cane. The man collapsed unconscious, and the wait was to much for the Obligator who was pulled forward into a heap. Cantos smashed down quickly, dispatching the man. Looking into the mist he saw no others watching, no Skaa investigated the fight. He pushed the bodies into an ally and wandered back into the mist, his thirst for revenge given a small drop of water.

Everything looks great here. As was pointed out, though, be sure to refer to provinces in the Final Empire as "X Dominance" instead of "X Dominion." Also, since you're a noble, I'll be changing your username to Cantos Orlan, though it's up to you how he calls himself in RP, of course.

That said, you're officially Accepted. Welcome to the Inquisition!
