The Lord Ruler's perfect capital city, Luthadel, is doing the impossible: rebelling. Skaa half-breeds are being taught the power of Allomancy, something that the Lord Ruler's obligators said only existed in the nobility. Hey everyone,

I've been an avid reader of fantasy books- Sandersonian and otherwise - for many years. I've also been a lurker on 17th shard for a few years, but only now stumbled upon this site.

I've never participated in a forum RP game before, but it seems like it would be fun, and the relaxed pace you guys espouse is right up my alley (being an adult with a job and a family). I enjoy writing and have no problem easing into the game with a small role that could grow over time. I'll be as thorough in character development for a small-time skaa informant as I would for a swashbuckling Mistborn, so no worries there.

I need to spend a little time digging through some of the guides before workshopping a character (and will likely pop onto Discord soon to get some real-time feedback on what is currently needed in-game), but I figured I'd go ahead and knock this part of the process off my to-do list.

I look forward to getting to know you guys and working my way into the game.
