The Lord Ruler's perfect capital city, Luthadel, is doing the impossible: rebelling. Skaa half-breeds are being taught the power of Allomancy, something that the Lord Ruler's obligators said only existed in the nobility. The enslaved skaa, with their murderous benefactor, now fight back against a living god's oppression.

So, the Inquisition was formed. The nobles begin to fear assassination from all sides. The times of nobility Mistborn killing each other are over. The Steel Inquisitors look for aristocrat traitors and insurgent skaa, and the skaa try with all their strength to merely survive. The Lord Ruler's perfect Final Empire is slowly devolving into chaos.

I'm a great fan of Sanderson and have read his Cosmere books (except for Oathbringer, which is on my bedside until I have the December holidays to give it the due attention it merits!). I'm from South Africa and admire the way Sanderson manages to merge politics, economy, religion and human experience into a stunning work of art.

I am completely new to this site, and also fairly new to fanfic and RP, though I have writing experience. I'm quite excited about the prospect of growing my skill, as well as engrossing myself in a world I really love.

I'm thinking about starting with a scholarly type of medium to high ranking obligator from the Canton of Resource. He will have no fighting ability or Allomantic power, and very little hereditary great house clout. His main strengths would be his skill in managing finance and the value he brings to the system (particularly to the Lord Ruler - foreshadowing the stockpiling of the caverns). I also have some interesting additions to this, but will reveal that in my character proposal. :)

Great to be part of the community!
