The Lord Ruler's perfect capital city, Luthadel, is doing the impossible: rebelling. Skaa half-breeds are being taught the power of Allomancy, something that the Lord Ruler's obligators said only existed in the nobility. The enslaved skaa, with their murderous benefactor, now fight back against a living god's oppression.

So, the Inquisition was formed. The nobles begin to fear assassination from all sides. The times of nobility Mistborn killing each other are over. The Steel Inquisitors look for aristocrat traitors and insurgent skaa, and the skaa try with all their strength to merely survive. The Lord Ruler's perfect Final Empire is slowly devolving into chaos.

Hi! I’m from New Zealand (Nyoo Zillund for fellow Kiwis), and I discovered Sanderson a little under 2 years ago. Since then, I’ve read pretty much everything he’s written.

I’ve been writing for years, and I too have the mountain of half-finished novels and stories that I think every writer keeps hidden in shame. My writing is influenced strongly by Sanderson, and I try to develop ambitious and deep worlds which keep on giving me new stories to tell. However, my strength (I hope) is in characters, especially dialogue.

Mistborn felt the most satisfying and gripping to me out of all of Sanderson’s series. I love the contrast between beautiful ballrooms and dirty smuggler dens, and how the ash can stain noble souls as well as skaa. The grittiness of everything was repulsive and alluring at the same time.

I’m not new to roleplaying, but this is the first time I’ve seen a fully-written roleplaying community, and in a world as cool as one of Sanderson’s no less! It seems a bit confusing at the moment, but I’ll start looking into how I can get involved. I usually like my characters to be horribly flawed and conflicted, so don’t worry about getting orphaned-brooding-attractive-young-Mistborn-Feruchemist power fantasy characters from me.

I’m most active on Discord, so I’ll be hanging out in the MBI server while I’m working out what’s going on and how to be a part of this.
