The Lord Ruler's perfect capital city, Luthadel, is doing the impossible: rebelling. Skaa half-breeds are being taught the power of Allomancy, something that the Lord Ruler's obligators said only existed in the nobility. The enslaved skaa, with their murderous benefactor, now fight back against a living god's oppression.

So, the Inquisition was formed. The nobles begin to fear assassination from all sides. The times of nobility Mistborn killing each other are over. The Steel Inquisitors look for aristocrat traitors and insurgent skaa, and the skaa try with all their strength to merely survive. The Lord Ruler's perfect Final Empire is slowly devolving into chaos.

#1 Eythen

Riordan Casuana's Reputation

Posted 02 September 2010 - 09:29 AM

Gender: Male skaa
Pertinent Information: Darcis is Eythen's doting father, once a renowned blacksmith of the Crescent Dominance. Age and the attack that Snapped Eythen as a Mistborn has severely hampered his ability to work as a smith, so he has instead become the primary bookkeeper of the Goldheart Forge, dealing with inventories and the like while his son handles the brunt of the work. To avoid the very minor chance that his name will be recognized from his famed work in the Central Dominance, he goes by the monikers of 'Master Goldheart' or 'Grandfather Goldheart' when dealing in matters of business, the moniker of course depending on the level of rank held over him. He is fiercely proud of his son and supports him as best he can despite Eythen's uncertainty of his role in life. He shares Eythen's dirty blond hair, though it has gone mostly gray at this point in his life, and proportional build as he is a good foot shorter than his 'little boy'.

Gender: Male Terrisman Feruchemist
Pertinent Information: One of the Terrisman stewards who was particularly fond of telling young Eythen the legends which seemed to shape his altruistic mindset, Dehnib is one of the hidden Keepers left in the Final Empire, though his specialties are...curious at best. In his Copperminds Dehnib would collect and store legends, games and children's stories, as well as recipes for sweets. When the Lord Ruler finally fell and his oppression ended with it, Dehnib's collection would help restore the lost arts of Innocence and Wonder to the skaa children. Without ash to sweep or nobles to fear, they would need stories to be told beneath the blue sky and games to play atop the green grass. And of course candies to be rewarded with for being nothing but their wonderful and blessed selves. When the House he served crumbled several years ago, Dehnib began to travel the Dominances, searching, eager to see what kind of man 'Young Master Eythen' had grown to become.

#2 Elaine

Posted 17 September 2010 - 05:28 AM

Gender: Male
Pertinent Information: Vincent is the big brother frequently referenced in Elaine's bio, and 'big' brother is an absolute understatement in his particular case. Standing just north of 8 feet tall and around 400 pounds of muscle, he is most decidedly 'big for his age' at 17. He is completely mute, and shares Elaine's auburn hair in a shaggy, shoddily cut mop, but has sky blue eyes radiant with inexpressible intelligence. Several blankets and sheets were sewn together for him to use as a cloak to hide the majority of his bulk, and a long length of white-ish cloth, probably straight from a bolt, serves as a scarf wrapped around his neck. He tends to regard everything with a passive, kind gaze, save for anyone foolish enough to attempt harming his precious little sister. The exact nature of his condition is not something can discuss, and not something Elaine is willing to speak about.
